After last year, full of monsters and quest, Percy, Annabeth, and Newly restored Thalia, go to a boarding school to help Grover out with a problem. They find two new Demigods and a lot of trouble. After a fight with a few monsters and a ride on the sun, they end up back at Camp Half-Blood, but without Annabeth. After a Oracle give a prophecy about the quest, Percy disobeys orders so he can help save Annabeth. They learn about new twists and a new plan by Kronos, the Titan lord, that may destroy all the Gods completely.
Percy learns that it is sometimes better to disobey others to save his friends. He learns that he needs to protect his friends because they are some of the only people he can trust.
The Titan's Curse is another great book in the Percy Jackson series. The story is told in first person by the main character, Percy Jackson. He tells about his emotions and thoughts in a funny way. He talks about the Greek mythology but in a fun and modern way. He brings some new twists in this book that are different than the first two. It has some good foreshadowing that makes the book mysterious and fun.
This books age target is probably around teenagers, because the story is about a modern teenager who was thrown into a new world. This book is also a great book for all ages. It is funny and adventurous.
I read holes because I had already got started in the series for other classes. I don't read much but I liked to read this book. "This fast-paced novel, along with the action, makes it a great series for fantasy lovers, reluctant readers, and anyone looking for a good story," came from the review by Teens Read Too. It was funny but it also played with some foreshadowing that came from my own knowledge on Greek mythology. Amanda Richards said, "This is one of those series where you just gotta get them all." I would recommend this book to any one who likes adventure books.
